Perseverance Pays at 24 Hour Mountain Bike National Championships

The 2007 USA Cycling 24 Hour Mountain Bike National Championships awarded stars-and-stripes jerseys in nine different 24-hour categories this weekend in Wisconsin. Hundreds of riders showed gumption in completing the 24-hour-long mountain bike race. In the brutal solo categories, Chris Eatough won the national championship for the fourth year in a row on the menandrsquo;s side while Pua Sawicki brought home the gold for the women. Seven additional national championship categories were contested in conjunction with 24 Hours of Nine Mile.
