The lead story in the business section of Tuesday's Plain Dealer was an article on the mountain bike park that is planned for Midtown Cleveland (near East 55th and Euclid). The article states that midtown is looking to spend over $1 million on the park. CAMBA is mentioned and CAMBA's Mike Farley is quoted in the article. We don't have much info beyond what's in the article at this point, but we'll let you know when we do. Is this a great time to be a mountain biker in Cleveland or what?!?! Attention USA Cycling Mountain Bike Members: With the upcoming 2007 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup season on the horizon, Competitors intending to compete in the Cross Country, 4-Cross and/or Downhill categories are reminded of the UCI regulations that govern who is eligible to participate. According to the UCI, participants must meet one of three criteria in order to be eligible for competition. Riders must have or accumulate a total of 20 UCI points in their respective discipline, or be a member of a UCI-registered trade team.
